Kid and friends just called in safe and all accounted for from Seattle Center. They’ve got years of school shooter drills under their belts, but those don’t actually make being in the place at the moment of a mass shooting any easier. They are all kinda shook.

Last Tuesday, the @rochesterbeacon.bsky.social published this article about DHS expanding ICE detention facility at the service processing center that no longer has room for EOIR court operations.

I need people to understand that this administration’s litigating position is (1) federal law currently mandates the detention, without bond, of every noncitizen who is allegedly unlawfully present and (2) constitutionally, they don’t get a day in court. they’re generally losing, but they’re trying.

Benjamin Song was sentenced to 100 years in federal prison today--far more than most people convicted of trafficking CSAM, among other serious offenses. He and the other Prarieland defendants were punished not for anything they did but for the things they believe (all of which I also believe)

In the last 4 months this client has been in 6 detention facilities. In the last four days they have been in TX, MS, OH and VA.
