Watched We're All Going to the World’s Fair. Good film! I Saw the TV Glow is better, but that makes sense. The wikipedia page for World’s Fair annoys me tho. They just take everything at face value and don't acknowledge any of the incredibly obvious messaging and subtext.
Been thinking recently about how we view the capacity to love as not just a moral good, but as an indicator of internal goodness, and thus deny that people that do or believe horrible things are capable of loving anyone Personally I view it as a completely neutral thing.
I genuinely don't remember anyone blathering much about generational groups until like 2010 onwards, when it apparently became the primary locus point by which everyone talks about literally anything. Astrology for atheists, I swear to god.
I also propose that we close down pre-schools, as I have created a more efficient way to produce pictures made of macaroni and glitter.

You might as well close the course. Which they're also doing. This is an attack on learning, and everyone is just shrugging.

So I obviously do it because it's a good way to quickly communicate things and do Marketing (TM), but I high-key resent things being pitched based on what other art they're a combination of. Like "it's Koyaanisqatsi crossed with The Backrooms", or whatever. Weird Lego approach to artistry.

My wife and I went for a weekend trip to Rotterdam earlier this year. We were talking about what to do, and she said, "we could go to The Hague...is that a place you can actually go to?" I replied, "hope so, or there's a couple million Dutch people that'll struggle getting home from work later."

We're just completely product-brained as a planet, and AI is the logical endpoint. Even kids doodles need to be "improved". The process is irrelevant at best, resented at worst.

That their own minds and ideas and experiences and abilities are not enough. That's a terrible, thoughtless, cruel thing to do. Shame on Kaepernick and everyone involved in Lumi.
