ICE is engaged in a very large escalation nationwide, with the agency claiming to be hitting record arrest numbers amid the return of quotas. This has gotten very little attention from the media because ICE learned lessons from the chaotic disasters of Kristi Noem’s tenure. Keep a watch.

there is no group of people who deserve quasi-suspect class status more than trans people. I swear to god, people need to read Carolene Products. They are a discrete and insular minority with zero political power as evidenced by the fact that they're being attacked left right and center.

See, people always want to make this just about "sports," but the real upshot here is that, 6-3, trans women can't make a claim under the Equal Protection Clause. And if they can't do that, it's hard to see how they have constitutional rights.

The 5/4 vote for Birthright citizenship alone is enough to tear the court down to the studs and start over. The text of the 14th amendment is absolutely, undeniably clear!

Every Democratic primary candidate should be asked if they support expanding the Supreme Court to 13 justices to match the current 13 federal court districts. And if the answer is no they should be asked how they plan to overcome a clearly corrupt Supreme Court in that case.

The first opinions are in the transgender athlete cases. In B.P.J., the court holds Title IX allows schools to provide separate women’s and men’s teams defined by biological sex, and WV has permissibly maintained female sports for biological females.
