FYI: Four UMC folks (three pastors and one former pastor) have run, two are already nominees (Hamilton and Cleaver), and one got beaten out by a PC(USA) minister in a primary. The fourth, former pastor Anna Golladay running for TN-3, has her primary Thursday.

The framing of these Democratic primaries by many news orgs is "how did the party let these radicals take over?" instead of "what is going on in the country and the world that leads so many people to vote this way?"
Saw a bit on MSNow recently about how AES was winning in part because of Medicare for All, but the pundit talked to voters and "they don't understand the policy, they just hear it as having a right to health care." 1) great! 2) Has lack of "understanding" policy ever applied to Trump voters?
