Although it was borderline traumatizing, I’m glad that I had the experience of being detained and bullied by US Customs and Border Protection back in 2013. I’m sure it was merely a taste of what is happening now, but it’s a sour enough taste that I have no desire to try to visit the USA. Be safe

I’m really gonna miss orange juice. I recently developed a minor obsession with the already expensive, fresh-squeezed OJ from Farm Boy. I can barely justify the cost now. With 25% tariffs on oranges, we’ll be drinking water around here.

Don't for one second believe that age brings wisdom. A few years ago in a freak wind storm/derecho a giant tree limb fell on my triplex while I was in it. It was a lot less devastating of a situation than you might think, but still I have developed a significant level of anxiety in wind storms. I find myself completely unable to focus this afternoon

My partner took my car for the day and although I wasn’t planning to go anywhere, being stuck at home in this small town has me feeling like a trad wife. Might fuck around and bake some bread later idk
