Trump told y’all he only had concepts of a plan re: health care in the debate. Y’all (Americans) still elected him and are surprised when he doesn’t have a plan for shit

🤷🏼 @timmiller.bsky.social: “Trump has lost touch with MAGA base — between the war, economy, gas prices ⬆️ , putting gold everywhere… he doesn’t even seem to have a plan. I’m not that surprised his numbers have slipped. Even his supporters are like ‘how can I get excited about this anymore?’”

Y’all an Australian man just asked me if I spoke English cause he was talking to me but I wasn’t talking to him. I laughed in his face. He walked away. Guess he’s not getting his exotic itch scratched by me! OK CROCODILE DUNDEE💀😆

"Let's make a base of modest, affordable apartments available to the working class" "And then let's rip those apartments away from them when they reach some arbitrarily-low means-tested line because the numbers are calculated from a county near Buffalo" "And let's charge poor people full rent"

City Limits News @citylimitsnews.bsky.social · yesterday

“This line of argument can appear sound—why shouldn’t the poorest New Yorkers get sole access to rent-stabilized apartments?—but it is ultimately a distraction from the real dynamics at play in the rental housing market.” citylimits.org/opinion-rent...

OMG! 🤭 "In a decision issued last week, the Canada Industrial Relations Board said the Bank of Canada contravened the Canada Labour Code by using contractors from Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations during the strike."

I’m marvelling at how a bunch of right-wing grifters and politicians convinced you that being “woke” was common sense but what really happened is they used your complicity to remove your rights, economic security and well being.

The public sector is also held up by a mountain of free labour in areas like health care and education where under resourced "women's work" gets done not because their time is valued by the govt, but because the mostly women workforce put in extra time to get it right.

Can someone explain to me how you still have a significant amount of unpaid labour to a female-heavy workforce in a federally-regulated industry? How much unpaid labour is the federal government failing to address? I’m talking about WestJet and AC before them

I watched a clip of a Democratic insider/consultant class who swears that the Democrats who win will be the ones who can double-down on how bad Trump is. No vision, no future for ppl to hope for, no addressing any of the policy issues that ppl are looking for. Just more Trump bad.
