I honestly dont know anymore. I have no theory of mind for people who seemingly understand that climate change is real and happening, and still want more fossil fuels burned. I can at least understand it from people who just don't believe in science.

Remember that Aotearoa is not the US: a vote for the minor parties isn't wasted, and gives them leverage in a coalition. Will it bring about a dictatorship of the proletariat? No. But it'll at least stop National slashing the welfare state and giving cookers and TERFs access to the levers of power.

Nobody wants predictive data models to stop working for the people in medicine. Or translating ancient Pompeii texts. Or the other ways we were already using it. We want it to stop replacing workers, killing the environment, and stealing from artists. Hope that clarifies.
