they let me on the internet as a kid and all that really happened was i learned gamehacking and heard a bunch of good music and figured out a bunch of etiquette the embarrassing way which is imo better earlier
this isn't very popular to say, but for me personally, it was good that i had unrestricted internet access when i was a minor. i was aware of what i was doing and enjoyed it. i don't look back on it and go "well that was a mistake", i look back on it and wish i could do it for the first time again

I suppose the reason why NGS has always felt odd is because at least with the base PSO2 they've tried to keep some sort of promise/commitment with having an "episodic" release but there's just none of that with NGS's story chapters.
