I'm weirdly finding that as I get older, it's easier to learn new skills, which is the opposite of what I thought was supposed to happen. I don't think we're giving enough credit to a lifetime of built skills. When new skills have overlap w/existing ones it greases the wheels for the new.

El-Sayed is so refreshing to me because it's so rare to see folks coming out of progressive spaces being morally consistent when it comes to both Gaza and Ukraine and there should be a lot more of that instead of parroting Russian talking points about its former colonized territories.
