I Sverige har vi blivit bra på att fördöma den antisemitiska konspirationsteorin om judar som i hemlighet styr samhället. Samtidigt har i princip halva riksdagen som officiell politik att muslimer gör det istället, vilket inte uppmärksammas över huvud taget.

Problemet är inte ordet utan att det vilar på en högerextrem konspirationsteori om att ledande politiker islamiserar Sverige och genomför ett folkutbyte. I den högerextrema världsbilden är i princip alla politiker landsförrädare.
The past few years have been an explicit test of two theories of how to win back AfD voters: first, the CDU just needed to pivot to the hard right under Merz and second that the Linke as a party was too woke and needed to turn to workerist anti-migrant nationalism via BSW. Both failed.

I don't follow a single nazi or terf account, but instagram keeps populating my feed with them, I guess for rage farming reasons. I don't think that should be legal. I think someone should be punished for pushing nazi and antiqueer content on a gay person.

When our car was stolen out of our driveway in the pandemic summer of 2020, the sum total police response was for a cop to enter our house unmasked, shrug that the car would likely turn up somewhere (it was not) and, upon examining my spouse’s expired license, telling him he could arrest him for it.

i got mugged at shotgun point. the cops arrested the wrong guy, hustled me out of court at the hearing when i said ”that’s not the guy,” told me “you didn’t see him,” made me do a lineup at the prison and when i said “that’s the guy i saw in court, still not him” told me “it’s OK, he’s a bad person”

This is honestly maddening, each week the news on this front is progressives posting "oh! The pope quoted Tolkien!" memes while the Catholic Church itself is like "our legal arm just made it even easier to torture queer and trans kids."

Based on what I've seen happen to people I know in the last couple years, I'm pretty sure the next decade or so is going to require some very serious thought about how badly these things can fuck a person up.
