Really rough to hear, I have a few friends that have been long-time employees of the studio here in Winnipeg. I feel so bad that they've all been let go.

This has gone from "wow, nature is impressive" to "holy shit this is scary" in #mbstorm. Everyone who is outside of the city please batten down and get in your basements tonight. There are insane winds and multiple tornado reports.

"ease the pressure on front-line responders" and the answer is more front-line help. I'm not saying don't help our paramedics, but can we ALSO (or even MORE SO) tackle the systemic underlying issues? I know it's really hard but this is really the definition of a (lifesaving) band-aid solution.
