I just learned the Ferrari Luce wasn't a weird joke. Why the FUCK did they let Jony Ive design a Ferrari? Ferraris are supposed to scream SEX and POWER and SPEED. That screams that it doesn't want to the track because it might get brake dust on its rims. I hope it drives better than it looks.

After 9/11, my parents stopped speaking to my sister and I in Armenian in public, stopped speaking to each other in Farsi in public, and lots of other choices to not be noticed as immigrants (despite them coming to the country in the 80's).

Prior to spring of this year, the WoW team, which unionized in 2024, had gotten the lion's share of bargaining time. Other units found themselves stuck in the mud. Higher-ups were effectively stalling the whole process—unfortunately nothing new for unionized workers under Microsoft’s umbrella.
"For this whole year of bargaining on the Diablo side—and I imagine on the rest of the units as well—we received so few [bargaining] dates, but we kind of had the understanding that whatever WoW was able to win would at least influence and set the floor for the rest of our units,” Diablo senior environment artist Mahreen Fatima told Aftermath. “We adopted this messaging about how WoW's wins are our wins, so we should be out there mobilizing with them. But truly, I feel like the company dragged its feet and did a lot of posturing and wasting time until the very, very last moment this last month to finally be able to say, 'OK, yes, we are willing to extend this contract to everyone.' One thing I hope everyone learns: a life doing the most good you can, with whatever luck and privilege you have, will ensure a great legacy. A well attended funeral filled with love for you and not obligation is a sign of a successful life. Dolly embodied that, and we should all learn from her.

So I'm trying a new local model (Ornith-1.5:9b) and, as I do with any new model, I start with "Hi! Tell me about yourself". This question tends to reveal a lot about the underlying philosophy and rules the model operates under. This model thinks it's Claude by Anthropic????
