The thing about proposing guardrails for U.S. police agencies is that — as body cameras, civilian oversight boards, efforts to ban lethal holds, and more have shown — police don't really _do_ guardrails.

Work on keeping it smooth and steady and your mind calm and collected. Remember, smooth is fast. As you become more comfortable add stressors until you're mentally prepared.
