No news outlet will be responsible enough to report that accurately. Doesn't mean a Paris to Edinburgh train wouldn't be extremely popular, but alas we can't have nice things because reasons.

saying this not as a dig to Paul but as a general point, but it does worry me that we've ended up in a world where the two options are seemingly "leftist bubble" or "oh hey the nazis are here" - surely we should be able to have a politically heterogenous platform with tight rules on hate speech etc?

Can't believe BBC News is leading with the deaths of 5 Russians in the Moscow region when this is probably the minimum number of Ukrainian civilians killed by Russia for over 4 years, every single day.
Germany's train system is a national disgrace. I'm legitimately embarrassed when foreign friends visit and they're forced to interact with it. We're one of the richest countries on earth and we can't make trains run on time (or at all, really)

Not ideal when you're trying to attend a match with a kickoff time. Of 6 trains used whilst in Germany, 5 were late and 2 were severely overcrowded.
