The street I live on in a small CT town has 12 1 family ranch style homes. The road is in need of repaving but there is no way the town is going to pay for this. How many roads will just be allowed to deteriorate going forward in the US? A huge problem to add to America's crumbling infrastructure.

I've driven an EV for years & the worst thing about driving a gas car now is the lack of regen braking. Gas cars just waste the energy & cause massive brake pad pollution while EV regen captures momentum & energy to be reused. Gas cars are old, wasteful, polluting tech.

Southwestern CT getting hit hard by bad air quality from the MN/Canada wildfires. All windows/doors closed with A/C running and my air purifier is struggling to get over 85. Guess the kids will be inside today. The Anthropocene sucks.
