Corporate Welfare In the last 3 yrs UK Govt gave £100bn subsidy to banks in the form of interest on central reserves. Practice started in 2009 after govt created QE. It was supposed to compensate for ultra low interest rates. EU mostly stopped such payments in 2023 What would you do with £100bn?
