The Human Rights Foundation of Monland is a local human rights organization aiming to restore democracy, human rights & genuine peace in Burma.

A junta column of around 500 troops burned two homes and a community clinic in Eakkani Village, within the Dawei Special Economic Zone in Yebyu Township, Dawei District. The column entered the area on July 26. The following day, they set fire to the two houses + the clinic in Eakkani Village.

A 30-year-old IDP from Zayat Seik Village was shot dead after he and two other civilians encountered a junta patrol in Baing Pyin Village, Palaw Township, Myeik District, Tanintharyi. At 2 PM on July 26, the three men entered Baing Pyin Village to collect food from their homes when they were shot.

Two local women were injured after stepping on a landmine while collecting bamboo shoots in Hpa-an Township, Karen State, on the morning of July 18. The victims were identified as a 36-year-old and a 45-year-old. They were searching for bamboo shoots near the village when the explosion occurred.

The families of two women from Asin Village, Ye Township, Mon State, have had no contact with them for five days after they were arrested over alleged links to resistance groups. At around 8 PM on July 10, Junta troops and members of the village security force raided their home & arrested them.

Four older residents have been released two weeks after eight villagers from Win Sein Village, Thaton Township, Mon State, were arrested by junta forces. The four released villagers are two men and two women, aged around 40 to 50. Troops drove them back to Win Sein Village on the evening of July 6.

A monk was injured after junta troops based at the Win Wa military camp in Thayetchaung Township, Dawei District, fired artillery shells toward nearby villages. At around 5:00 PM on July 7, troops from the Win Wa base fired two artillery shells toward Ka Myaing and Ya Nge villages.

Two workers were killed, and eight others were injured after the Junta aircraft bombed gold mining sites in Bilin Township, Mon State, over two consecutive days. The first attack took place at around 11:00 a.m. on June 22, when Junta aircraft dropped around eight bombs on gold mining operations.
