Dawkins has been one of those intellectuals that has pooh-poohed philosophy as a serious discipline because it's not science™️. Boy could he benefit from reading up on basically every major philosophy of science and mind that's been produced the last 120 years.

In 2008 I worked for Obama's campaign in Indian River County Florida. For folks unfamiliar with the area, in 2004, indian river donated the second most money to George W Bush per capita of any county in the US. Just one county S, the Republicans elected David Duke's son as their county chair.
