For me the very first legal strep I would take in relation to regulating AI is to make the CEO’s of the AI companies personally liable for any and all damage and loss caused by their product, directly or indirectly. The tech companies are far too used to being able to dodge liability.

Agroforestry: Grow food WITH trees, not instead of trees. Cover crops & mulching: Feed the soil, don't burn it. Compost & biochar: Keep carbon IN the soil. These double yields in 2-3 years without cutting one new tree.
