Having a big chunk of your takeout order (just an entire cheeseburger and side) not included is already frustrating, but now that gas is back to almost $4 a gallon, it is extra infuriating to have to make two trips.

I think it's okay to do as much as you can do without going insane and not beat yourself up over the rest.

If a dog is straining against its leash, trying to bum rush a stranger, I would assume the person holding the leash might try to dissuade or distract or pull the dog away, rather than making the stranger take a wide berth just to avoid the aggressive dog.
A month ago, I'd never heard of an Irish Spice Bag. Now I feel like I'm seeing videos and recipes for it everywhere. And I think Oklahomans would absolutely go insane for everything in it: fried chicken pieces, french fries, onions and peppers, Chinese five spice, curry sauce.

Fried rice is great when it's great, but peak lo mein (when all the aromatics and proteins are seasoned right and properly stir-fried) is unassailable. Yes, I am aware it's not yet 8 a.m.
I try not to sound like an intellectual elitist, but is it so bad to expect our leaders who speak publicly to at least have a decent command of the English language?

Only acceptable new name for Lake Ontario is Lake Ontarí'io Like it was before the European "discoved" America Ontarí'io : Wendat word meaning “beautiful lake” or “sparkling water” or “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big” Personally I love how Indigenous people named lakes and rivers #hydronym
