The guy who played Big Pussy in the Sopranos has died. When I googled all i got was him as an old grey-haired man, with glasses, so i wanted to remind myself what he looked like when he was on the show and oh boy i forgot i had SafeSearch off.

Here's some photos of the Mirror Darkly TOS-style buttons with labels on top. Once lit up, the viewer couldn't see the labels at all.
Chrome Guardsman@chromeguardsman.bsky.social · 3d agoWhen they were recreating the TOS sets for the ENT episodes, they found that you could stick a label underneath the buttons, which would be visible to the person sitting at the console but to anyone else. Which at least answers the "why is nothing labelled" complaint people had about TOS.
