Ukrainian soldier Officer_33 says that no, the war is not about to end, Russia is still trying to increase its offensive capabilities. The deep strikes are great, but the front lines and ground troops are ultimately the people that victory will hinge upon.

If everyone thinks peace (or a ceasefire) is just around the corner, then I'm sorry to disappoint you—there definitely won't be peace this year.

These aren't predictions or insider leaks; they're logical conclusions based on the current situation and the overall state of affairs at the front. The enemy continues active offensive operations and is trying to seize more territory in Donetsk Oblast. They are certainly beginning to face manpower shortages, but the issue is not yet critical for them, and the leadership is already preparing potential ways to replenish personnel through general mobilization and North Korean troops.

Overall, it doesn't look like peace is on the horizon. The enemy is not experiencing crises severe enough to force an end to the war in the near future. On the contrary, they are trying to increase their offensive capabilities.

This isn't doomposting—just don't get carried away by too much euphoria. Deep strikes are one thing, but they alone won't win the war. In the end, everything still comes down to the front line and the infantry holding it.
