My flight to Auckland got delayed by 24 hours, but I'll make it just in time for my talk at ICRS - Monday at 10:45AM in room 516! This is my first ICRS, very excited! #ICRS2026
Very excited that I got to present on some of my dissertation research at #ICRS2026! This study looked at changes in lipidomic profiles in Aiptasia based on life stages and symbiotic state. Thank you to everyone who came, asked questions, and helped make this moment possible. Kia ora!
Thanks to the organisers for a fantastic #icrs2026 ! Inspiring and productive, with lots of ideas to think about. And big congratulations to the lab for their great presentations!
My first #ICRS2026 @icrs.bsky.social: so glad to share what we've been working on in the areas of coral hologenomics and Symbiodiniaceae genomics. It's been an exciting, productive meeting with wonderful people! Tagging @hisatakeishida.bsky.social here for his excellent talk. Go k-mers!
Fantastic week of science and fun in Auckland for #ICRS2026 🪸. Even managed to get some sampling in at the University of Auckland 🔬
New work led by @stevenjrobbins.bsky.social @markoterzin.bsky.social finally published - we now have a reference of microbial genomic resources from the Great Barrier Reef. The paper came out just hours after the work presented by Marko at #ICRS2026 @icrs.bsky.social See thread here for more detail
It's out! Excited to present the Great Barrier Reef Microbial Genomes Database (GBR-MGD), a comprehensive DB of 1000s of high-quality prokaryote, virus, plasmid, and chromosome-level eukaryote MAGs using Nanopore long reads. Subthreads incoming. Please share widely. 🙂 www.nature.com/articles/s41...
It's our last and final day at #ICRS2026! If you have not already done so, come and support our students and ECRs in showcasing their amazing work on #CoralScience! Be sure to tag us in your posts and stories so we can share them! #CoralReefs #MarineScience #ICRSSECC (1/2🧵)
Hey #ICRS2026! Genevieve's talk is today and she has lots of lab stickers to share! Say hi so she doesn't return home with any (and, more importantly, because her dissertation is cool)! 9:20am, room 517, session 104! innovators-icrs2026programme.eventsairsite.com?agendaId=d28...
