I'm basically still too paranoid that Tuesday was a fever-dream I'll snap out of any minute to get my hopes up for many of the proposed good things people are pointing out may come from it. But, there's a lot of good possibilities for Texas in particular
Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com · 4d agoWow. When the Texas trans youth care ban went to the Texas state supreme court, it was not a 9-0 decision. It was 8-1. Debra Lehrmann (R) called the ban "cruel" and "unconstitutional." She will be joined by 4 dems in a 5-4 court. There is a chance every anti-trans measure could fall in Texas.
Starting today, we have to push Talarico and other Democrats to be better. We have to primary the ones that advocate for anti-trans policy in the future. It's clear that nobody needed to throw trans people under the bus in this election to win, and I will continue pushing dems to be better.
I want them to nationalize his companies. That is consequences for me.
