At some point schadenfreude becomes a kink doesn't it. Yeah.

Really shocked that Rosie, who wants to protect women, accidentally befriended a man who beat his wife and wrote about wanting to shag teenage girls.
Dear god
I’d use BlueSky more but it has the horrible effect of reminding me that… *gestures at the world*
Hi can I surprise everyone who knows me by saying Lifeforms ISDN Dead Cities ok thanks
What's the best three album run from a band? (the correct answer is Moving Pictures, Signals, and Grace Under Pressure by Rush, but I'm excited to learn second place)
Also we got some Enofa bits n bobs here including an FSOL remix and my face on the cover enofa.bandcamp.com/album/ladybi...

I don’t know how this slipped through the net, I’m going to blame wetransfer Enofa, Third Kind’s finest
A couple of years ago I worked on some weird trance-inspired tracks It's my favourite thing I've ever done. Nobody wanted to release it, though, so I've put it on my Bandcamp for free. Help a girl out and share this if you get chance. I'd love people to hear it! enofa.bandcamp.com/album/like-w...
When I first heard ‘No Scrubs’, I thought the line ‘A scrub is a guy who can’t get no love from me’ was them explaining the word ‘scrub’ and it seemed like the stupidest tautology ever. It wasn’t until I was maybe in my mid 20s that I realised it was a different kind of tautology.

When artists and labels say "I love Bandcamp", ask yourself - who even are they any more? How many of the original staff who made it such a great platform still work there? Who even owns them now, after they've been bought/sold more times than we can count? Sorry to everyone who lost their jobs 💙
my 13 years at bandcamp are coming to an end - i’ve been laid off along with most of the remaining engineers. best job i’ve ever had, working with the best people you could ever work with. unceremonious end to quite a ride.
This is horrible, horrible news. One of the most important figures in Doctor Who, the man who headed up the expanded universe for nearly 20 years, made the EDAs good, and created the Jago & Litefoot series for Big Finish. RIP Justin Richards.
Justin Richards was a master plotter, writer of suspense, and creator of my single favourite run of Doctor Who. He gave exciting stories to a broken boy who needed then more than ever. RIP, Justin.
Remember folks, if buying isn’t ownership, piracy isn’t theft.
PlayStation is deleting over 500 purchased movies from its customers' accounts 🎞️ • Includes films like 'Terminator 2', 'Rambo', 'Apocalypse Now', 'Hot Fuzz', and 'Moonlight' • No mention of refunds • Comes after a licensing deal ended
don't be afraid to go hard. like just in general
There are no working musicians on the boards of Spotify, Soundcloud, or Bandcamp (Songtradr) How does that make any sense?
Heads up brummies - cherry reds is being review bombed by fascists as they refused service to some anti-immigrant protestors yesterday. If you’ve ever had a nice drink or meal there then maybe today’s a good day to leave your own review.
The creation of the new genre Smear Test is not going as well as I expected. I thought it was going to be progressive trance meets OG screamo but that’s absolutely not happening now.
Once again men's superior physical strength defeats women at chess, darts, fun runs, beauty contests, snooker, and now bird-watching!
It'd be a lot easier to understand their position if they weren't also coming for the trans-inclusive women's bird watching groups. It kinda gives the game away.
My Bluesky timeline now contains more drawings of curvy female characters than it does cassette label shitposting, which is probably an inevitability of knowing more and more trans people. Basically @strategictaper.bsky.social need to up their game
Potentially one could broadcast radio waves to people with individual receivers. It would be difficult to choose exact songs but you could tune your receiver to someone who usually plays music that you like. You could even phone them up and “request” a particular song
I’d say I’m looking forward to the Doctor Who Wilderness Years II but it’s just going to be The Eight Doctors and Destination: Nerva ad infinitum, isn’t it?
Oh wait, I forgot this one!
It's hard to think of an album by a mainstream act with a worse cover. Possibly Message From The Country by The Move or Prince's 20Ten. So today's challenge is to nominate a worse album cover BY A MAINSTREAM ACT NOT BY SOME OBSCURE FOLK OR HIP HOP GROUP. youtu.be/WzkN8wKOkWk?...

I’m glad we’re getting more centrist liberal drivel from the people who brought us The Interstellar Song Contest. When did he stop being good? It feels like it’s the last three or four years.
that’s great, man. that’s wonderful. thanks (Russell T Davies on his new series in the Guardian)
It strikes me that enough cisgender men have been attacked by cisgender men in male toilets to justify banning cisgender men from male toilets.
