For those of you who used legacy Slime2 widgets (run from a local HTML file), Socks has provided an alternative authentication method that should get them back up and running while my authentication service is down. The instructions are in the GitHub Gist below (click on the link in the embed).

If you previously used the "SEChat to slime2 Converter", congratulations, I have a solution for the Slime2 service being down and not available, introducing THIS FIX. The fix is also available for the converter as well, and can be used during conversion: socksthewolf.github.io/SEChatToSlime/

Mutual aid Raid train for Milo's🐶 health! - Twitch Raid Train | RaidRunner

My good friend's dog, Milo, recently got diagnosed with lymphoma, an incurable cancer. He is loved dearly by his family and they want to give him every chance p

One thing I wish people would realize is just how central JK Rowling is to the entire anti-trans ecosystem. Looking at a network node analysis of the top 200 anti-trans X accounts, she is the most central figure spanning both sides of the Atlantic from Republicans to Labour.

A network graph visualization on a dark background showing connections between various accounts. The central, highly connected node is labeled "J.K. Rowling," with lines radiating out to many other nodes color-coded by region (UK, US, etc.). A detail panel on the right displays stats for her account, including her role as "Author & commentator," an in-degree of 153, an out-degree of 84, and 14 million followers.A scatter plot graph on a dark background comparing accounts based on "followers (log)" on the x-axis and "in-degree" on the y-axis. The data points are color-coded by region. J.K. Rowling is highlighted as a major outlier in the top right corner, possessing the highest number of followers and the highest in-degree. Other labeled points lower on the graph include various politicians, individuals, and campaign organizations.

Not going to have time to stream today. Sorry for not announcing this sooner, been real busy this morning. Yall take good care of yourselves. I should be able to finish up the rest this week, so perhaps I'll finally play our next game playthrough Monday, which will be "Nobody Wants To Die."

At some point, people need to reconcile their support of companies like Amazon. The convenience isn't worth the damage these companies do. Our collective knowledge can't be trusted solely in the hands of untrustworthy billionaire hoarders like Jeff Bezos.

An investigation by 404 Media showed that Amazon is destroying rare books to train AI models. The investigation involved planting an Airtag in a rare book, which was then tracked to an Amazon AI training facility in Las Vegas. 🤬

Heads up, if twitch is using personal info like this on behalf of amazon's AI modeling, it's probably to take personal info primarily from chatters, not streamers. Please make sure you disable that new Gen AI training option on your twitch account. It's defaulted to 'on' and that's creepy as hell
