What if we treated senators (ahem Mitch) like teachers. They get 12 sick days. They have to call them in and they have to get a substitute. If they run out of sick days, and they haven’t contributed to the sick bank, their pay gets docked. The had to provide lesson plans for absences.

If anyone is still wondering if this a-hole is ever gonna leave office, the stalling of the letter removal at the Kennedy Center is all we need to know. They don’t think laws apply to them.

Does anyone remember trump’s big announcement about 50 boys and 50 girls, one from each state, would compete in some undefined athletic contest? Wasn’t that a year ago? One more thing that just disappeared without any attention?

Hey press: quit calling him a teacher. He wasn’t. He was not certificated. He worked for a tutoring test prep company.
There is no different way. There is a wrong way. This is appalling.

Xavier Becerra addresses single-payer healthcare in California in a way I can appreciate. He talks about the logistics of making it happen. He says it won’t be easy, but it can be done. I respect that. Too many politicians make it sound easy, then drop it once they’re elected. Becerra gets it.
He probably shoulda napped instead of going to hear scotus today.

FAMU can't use the word Black on anything posted around campus related to Black History Month, to stay in compliance with Florida state laws against DEI. Black students can't use the word Black at their Historically Black College during Black History Month.
So after every school shooting, we get crickets. But one protester had a gun that he didn’t use and made ICE Monsters look bad, so now guns are a problem.
