As someone who was born missing half my left arm, I lacked a lot of confidence growing up, especially as a teen. Seeing a character with prosthetics that is self-assured, not to mention an in-canon sex symbol, was incredibly healing for a part of me that still struggled with that. Fizz has my ❤️.

it feels a bit silly to say but helluva boss genuinely changed the way i view and “consume” media as a whole. it was wild to hear vague negative things abt a show for years, assume i would hate it, & then get smacked in the face with humor & characterization & themes that are so ME. to my core
I'm not even exaggerating when I say this game is one that defined my childhood. My bestie and I even did a Let's Play of it on his channel like 10yrs ago, and I had so much fun playing and recording it with him. If you've never experienced this game, I highly recommend you take the time to. 💜

You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

You really expose not just your media literacy but also your empathy and understanding to issues that are symbolized in said media. You say “it’s not that deep” shows your insensitivity.
