Investing in basic needs - housing, food, education, healthcare - isn’t a government handout. It’s an investment in future security. Pay for it with defense money. (It’s also just humane, which is why we should do it, but for those in the front always asking what we get out of it…)

Opening parts of the economy, talking to US businesses, and even shifting policies that had been untouchable for decades. Did it matter? Nope. Washington basically said, “Not enough.” That tells you the goal isn’t reform. It’s full control.
But don’t tax the rich. Just charge the middle class and those struggling as much as you think you can get. I bet some smart lawyer convinced a judge this is the opposite of price fixing, even when done by monopolies…
