Vol.4 of the Akira re-read. 25 years later, my favourite sequence is still the epic Chiyoko one-woman wrecking crew trek across the wasteland of Neo-Tokyo. The women lost out most in the adaptation. With every turn of the page, I still cannot believe what I'm seeing. So good that it actually hurts.
