I rmr this one person who got mad at me years ago for talking about third trimester abortions as medical necessities instead of defending a woman's right to choose for whatever reason but idk after all this time I still don't think it's great to pretend like the anti-choice strawman is real y'know

this has to be one of the most insidious things written in these dogshit articles. a lot of them pretend like they accept that some ppl are genuinely abused and have reason to go no contact but others, not so much. and here this writer mentions genuine abuse yet it still doesn't justify going NC

has there been like serious academic research into why Black american culture specifically has such a high commercial output around the world? my hypothesis would be that it stems from the hyperexploitation of Black ppl within the US but i'm not sure if that holds up w/ data
