Not only that, but approximately 1 out of 6 men will experience abuse in their lifetime, too. Men are exponentially more likely to be victimized than to face false allegations, yet it’s viewed as in their best interests to undermine victim credibility.
Approximately 1 out of 3 women will experience sexual and/or physical abuse in their lifetime and you still have men claiming that allegations must be false because there are too many of them. It’s actually the opposite. The vast majority allegations will never become public
Sin that must be eternally punished is a culturally Christian idea that you can and should reject. If someone admits wrongdoing and changes their behavior, that's the desired outcome. You don't continue to punish because you then signal there's no point to contrition at all, you're damned either way

The whole project made a lot more sense as the Epstein story emerged. There's a clear link between this push for genital inspections for girls in sports, the protection of Epstein's buddies, and the Dobbs decision/50-year anti-Roe push. They want to control your body from cradle to grave.

Literally there are conversion therapy manuals that start with isolating your child from all potential sources of safeguarding and supportive information and cutting them off from unmonitored internet access so they can find the number for ChildLine while you're not watching is right up there.

It’s not hyperbole that part of what kept the queer liberation movement going in the Reagan era was the partying part of the “bury your friends in the morning, protest in the afternoon, and dance at night” schedule. Without joy there is no air left to fight
