the manifesto jam stuff has been great to read, even when i don’t agree. that’s kinda the point to me, read an opposing opinion declared with such ferocity and conviction that it forces you to reckon with your own opinions and views on the topic. even if they end up the same, you’re better for it

I love this article. It hammers home how simple placeholder art is a part of the iterative development process, and is key to allowing each discipline creative influence. When devs use AI, they are cutting other artists out of the creative process, often intentionally, and producing worse stories.

the solo dev curse I think is that fundamentally I was born to be an ideas guy, I just happened to stumble upon enough talent that I'm capable of executing my ideas in an excruciatingly long amount of time if I want
