There is no degree of narcissistic injury that magically transforms lesbians into the oppressors of straight women, and to pretend otherwise is bilious lesbophobia.
Lesbians are allowed to express disdain for the overwhelming ubiquity of poorly conveyed and flagrantly conservative depictions of M/F in all media. You can understand where we're coming from, discover a spot of feminist awareness, or seethe in blessed silence.
If you twist queer women's disdain for patriarchal propaganda and heterosexual hegemony into a charge of misogyny, you are a malicious homophobe and I am tired of pretending otherwise.

We've also known for over 60 years that significant weight loss is basically impossible to sustain & that it's much harder on the body to lose and regain it than it is to just take good care of yourself and remain approximately the same size especially while recovering from surgery,
