Trump’s real base of support — billionaires, Big Oil, Big Tech, crypto, defense contractors, & Wall Street — know that the midterms may limit what they and Trump can get away with moving forward. 2026 could be the last year they can cash in and loot the country. Be warned.

The UC Regents—the same people who cowered, while unions fought the Trump admin in court—are meeting this week at UCLA to discuss new rules to muzzle faculty speech, among other abhorrent appeasement strategies. This TUESDAY let’s show them who we really are.

Join the Fight!

On Nov 14, the US District Court issued a preliminary injunction stopping Trump's illegal extortion of the UC. This legal effort was organized by ten UC campus Faculty Associations, the AAUP, AFT, UC-AFT Local 1474, AFSCME Local 3299, Council of UC Faculty Associations (CUCFA), UPTE-CWA Local 9119, California Nurses Association/National Nurses United, UAW, UAW Local 4811, Teamsters Local 2010, and CIR-SEIU with support from 25 student associations.
Join us on Tuesday, Nov 18 at 12 noon in Dickson Court just west of Murphy Hall at
UCLA to build on this victory and chart the path ahead! We are just getting started!
We will be joined by representatives of UC Unbowed, a campaign of UC alumni and allies who have organized a petition with over 2000 signatures calling for UC leadership to stand up for our core values. Sign the petition here.

Just got back from protesting ConnectedSF's gala. This org's leader Marie Hurabiell tweeted that trans women aren't women and undocumented people are violent criminals. And Mayor Lurie was a featured guest helping her fundraise! Clearly, Lurie is not good at vetting people. 🧵

Six people hand out literature and hold signs, including "Mayor Lurie, Don't ConnectSF to Bigotry" and "Lurie, You're Fundraising for the Anti-Trans Agenda."

"As rent costs rise each year, increased funding is necessary to maintain assistance. Flat funding reduces ... available vouchers." Absolutely insane that the U.S. government pays increasing amounts of $$ to private landlords each year rather than operating social housing. nlihc.org/resource/fed...
