So I’m part of a group called Birds with Threatening Auras on FB. A post claimed that one of the Galapagos Island finches drinks blood. Turns out it’s true. Whole new take on red tooth and claw (Darwin). #TeamRE

Every year we send our y11s a motivational Christmas card. This year it will have a QR code…to the EPR dept. Christmas music video! The bar will be low, but looking forward to giving it a bash!

The issue is that no matter what thinking, teachers/subject leads do for their subject, whole sch systems generally scupper them being as good as they could be Whenever I talk about assessment in RE with people, they don’t want effective assessment. They want RE assessment that fits whole school.

You can't use one assessment for multiple purposes - it gets pulled out of shape. That's what happened to GCSEs when they were used for all kinds of purposes they weren't designed for. Things are a bit better at secondary now - but what about primary?
