it's done... my tax has been made digital. But at what cost?* *£1.60 a month on Xero's Simple Plan, upping to £7 in six months, plus the cost of an hour long call with my accountant to learn how to use this new programme WHEN IN THE RECENT PAST WE COULD INPUT THIS SAME DATA INTO HMRC FOR FREEEEEEE

*A well rehearsed, tightly written scene with punchlines and pay-offs, and good comedic acting that is well rehearsed* Instagram Reel: "This is actually all improvised 🥰, the reactions here are genuine, the actors had no idea he would say and do that"

The question for Nigel Farage now is whether it's less embarrassing to un-resign and claim that was an establishment stitchup, or to spend a month competing with a bin. Neither is exactly a *great* option. Neither solves his ongoing scandals. And it's a mess entirely of his own making.

The instinctive reaction right now is lazy, sleep-walking cynicism, or sullen don't-give-me-hope despair. But the truth is: someone with very good communication skills, the right diagnosis and a reforming zeal is about to become prime minister. That seems pretty fucking encouraging to me.

I like that “Widow’s Bay” is from a “Parks and Recreation” writer and answers the question, “What if they made a whole show out of the Pawnee City Hall murals?”

everyone is always like "in animation you must be able to write anything", meanwhile I am currently writing the "everything set in one location with the main cast only and strictly using props already built" episode
