I'm a little under the weather today--actually, for the past few days--due to sinus/allergy issues. Didn't sleep well last night. Told myself I would not push writing today. I was going to attempt 500 words at lunch, but I kept writing and ended up with 1,112 words. I have 3,137 words now. 1/2

Gretchen McCulloch@gretchenmcculloch.com · 6h agoOne of the great joys of my adult life has been realizing that I can just pick up a new skill every so often, take a fun little class in it weekly for a year or two, and simply enjoy meeting people and getting medium proficient and not attempting to become professional in it at all!

I used to keep a bag of chocolate chips on hand when my kids were little. I don't bake much, but they were handy as rewards for when the kids needed to take their medicine when sick. Bribery works.

Just got a report of a scam solicitation w/ contact info harvested from copyright registration lists. The work is unpublished & not mentioned anywhere else; registration included author's cell #, so solicitation was via SMS. Just a reminder that any contact info on a registration is public record.
I agree! I would also like to send books, computers, and other means of obtaining education to people in other nations who do not have such access instead of bombs or tanks. Knowledge is power, and the key to peace. (which is why trump and his nazis hate public education and higher learning).
