Two hours into the committee hearing, people could speak briefly in support or opposition to any of the 300 bills, kind of a free-for-all. Two adoptees from California Alliance for Adoptee Rights urged that SB 381 be moved to the Suspense File, which is the next step. I think that's all for today!

They are not hearing the bills in numerical order that is on the agenda so I don't know when SB 381 will be discussed. Watching democracy in action in discussions of the other bills is also interesting. 📃

It could be a while before they get to our bill since it's one of over 300 but it's starting. 🎦 🥚
