Usually caffeinated.

Ah, yes,the social construct where my son regularly behaves in a life-threatening manner and will need life long medication and support to stay alive. I have no words for the people who commissioned this rage bait title for viewing figures. Because we have to come out and immediately call this out.

Channel 4 has announced documentary “The Great ADHD Myth?” It “seeks to determine whether ADHD is a genuine neurodevelopmental disorder, or a social construct.”

Following on from Vindaloo, I'm now hearing a dreadfully flat version of Three Lions, complete with them mumbling the words "Jules Rimet" because they probably don't know what that was. I miss is when Portugal used to win a lot. The celebrations here were far better.

fascinatingly* the French news is translating "Count Binface" as « le Compte Tête-de-Poubelle » rather than « Visage-de-Poubelle) which is, in fairness, more accurate (his entire head is a bin, not just his face) typical British media not asking the important underlying questions * ta gueule

Screenshot from Le Parisien. A photo of Count Binface, a man in a sort of black Darth Vader suit but with a silvery grey cape and a bin on his head with eye slit and mouthhole.

Headline:

I give you the current state of British politics: "Chancellor Rachel Reeves says she won't stop Nigel Farage spending "the summer arguing with a bin"."

3.22am and I now hear a "what was that?" That, son, was a penalty which apparently now requires fireworks to be let off. I hope Norway win the fucking tournament.

Couldn't give a fuck about this match. I do give a fuck about having a disregulated kid who doesn't know what time of day it is tho. Courtesy of some git who thinks it's hilarious to spend half time doing fuck knows what racket in their garden. On behalf of my kids teacher, up yours.

One of the lessons of the last two years is that Labour urgently needs to stop being afraid of its own shadow. Burnham should appoint whoever he thinks would be the best Chancellor and throw his authority behind them. The Daily Mail will try to kill them anyway. So just govern.

Hard not to regard this as a classic example of a pre-emptive campaign by certain sectors, along with their media sympathisers, to discourage a new prime minister from appointing someone who might damage their interests in the long and short term. And it will almost certainly work.

I’m not saying the debate in the U.K. has moved to the right, but Ed Miliband is basically seen as Pol Pot for aiming for a climate target first agreed to by…I think Theresa May’s government? Definitely Johnson’s. And this chat is going on during the middle of a record-breaking heatwave
