A MONTH AFTER I POSTED THIS I CHECKED REFWORKS AND THEY HAD ADDED TV SHOWS, ONLINE VIDEOS AND VIDEO GAMES TO THEIR REF TYPES. TOO LATE REFWORKS... TOO LATE!

Me, to referencing management software: Hi, are you ever planning to implement TV shows, Online videos or Video Games as reference types in your software? RM Software Co.: Er... we have all the *normal* type of references here... none of that *weird* stuff. Maybe someday, if it ever takes off lol.

I always think of @99pi.org when I go to the toilets at uni and "encounter" this failure of signage. First is the sign by the cleaners cupboard (opposite the toilet corridor), second is in the toilet corridor, third is the "sign" on the door of the toilet corridor. How would you "evaluate" this?

The inhumanity is accelerating. There are multiple reports of ICE agents laughing as kids scream and cry, and one in this raid saying literally “fuck them kids.”

My god. “Watson said she saw agents dragging residents, including kids, out of the building without any clothes on and into U-Haul vans. Kids were separated from their mothers…’It was heartbreaking to watch…seeing kids coming out buck naked and taken from their mothers, it was horrible.’”

🚨 NEW | Anti-trans hate group "Green Women's Declaration" have been formally barred from Green Party conference. The group sought a stall at conference, but their bid was denied by the party. Green leader Zack Polanski recently affirmed the party's support for trans rights.

They really should separate baby health and safety guidance into: • Bad habits to get into, that are fine to do once or twice but have longterm risks, and • Things that might kill your baby if you do them even once. I understand that people still wouldnt be able to discern the difference, tho.

STARMER'S POLITICAL MYOPIA IS TYPICAL of politicians and commentators I would characterize as reactionary centrists-those who, in addition to having moderate policy preferences, share a view of the far right as having unaccountably low agency, and figuring them as simply reacting to the actions (and alleged excesses) of leftists, progressives, and advocates of social justice. 1 Reactionary centrists rarely imagine solutions to political problems that do not involve a policy move to the right, especially on social issues. Won an election? You'll need to give ground to govern. Lost an election? You'll need to give ground to win next time. That this is obviously unfalsifiable doesn't bother them in the slightest.
