Craving a reuben, but literally all of QFC's horseradish expires tomorrow, and it would be a waste to buy a whole jar for a few teaspoons and then throw it out 😞

I think it was the Marvel Masterworks Spiderman/X-Men/Fantastic Four collections? But the series I remember making me fall in love with comics was Infinity, Inc. The characters were fun and I thought their powers were all really cool. Also I liked their ties back to Golden Age comics.
If you’re a comics fan, what’s the earliest comic book you can remember reading? And what kind of impression did it make on you?
never thought short form video would be able to capture a type of humor i can only describe as “the far side-esque” but this comes close.
Didn't have clean gym shorts so today's workout is in old rowing trou. Sorry for the mooseknuckle other dudes at the gym 😅

RFK Jr. suggests Americans can more easily afford groceries if they start eating liver instead of beef: "Most of the cheap cuts of meat are very inexpensive. ... You can buy liver"
In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who collect massive paychecks doing fuck all; and the mayor, who just wants the police to do their fucking job. These are their stories.

I told my dental hygienist about my bike accident a couple years ago so she regaled me with stories of people who died choking on their own teeth or unconscious in a puddle. What wonderful bedside manner.
Seattle tried to move some of the parking enforcement in particular to SDOT in 2020, and then SPD threw such a hissy fit about it it all got moved back a couple years ago. And now it seems like we have no traffic or parking enforcement of any kind.
Neither side in public safety debates is really incentivized to make much hay of this because it’s both extremely unflattering to cops and calling for more enforcement, but it’s a massive scandal that has killed thousands.
Cannot think of a clearer example of how our social bonds are rotting away than public reactions to amber alerts - nothing but complaints and whining. They’re urgent, time critical disruptions by design. It’s so miserable to read this level of selfish behaviour.
I got a massive sunburn all down my side yesterday and boy am I paying the price today

Ok finally catching up on Canada's Drag Race All Stars and 1) I'm sorry I didn't get on the Sami Landri train earlier; she's exactly the kind of stupid drag I love, and 2) man they really want me to hate Nearah Nuff. Her awful lip botox isn't helping.
For the love of God why do we need to make the ethics trainings whole-ass dramatic productions
Prescriptivism is stupid; I really only use the Oxford comma because it reflects how I would say the sentence, pausing at each comma.
