Welp. Guess I’ll just be over here deleting family photos to make room on my hard drive for all of these.
COOL ASS EC HUMBLE BUNDLE!!!! www.humblebundle.com/books/ec-com...
It’s the last weekend for Planet Comics! There’s a new printing of issue 6 you can get with a cover from @craigrousseau.bsky.social! And issue 7 has a Kirby homage from @jeff-mccomsey.bsky.social!
Made myself a little tree scale reference for OUTLAW'S APPRENTICE wide shots and the birds' eye view map I gotta draw tomorrow
Arguably one of the hardest corporate logos out there. Very villain coded.
Watching THE DUECE and one of the things I love about all of David Simon’s shows is that he’s never wasted a minute of screen-time.
From last night’s killer Weird Al show in Hershey. A fine way to spend a Friday evening!
looking at the headlines and reflecting once again on how all the smart, hard-working, honest people I know feel like they’re going at least a little insane in our era of total Stupid Immoral Asshole ascendancy
Last 10 hours! I got in under the wire. I love everything about this campaign.
Finally putting this in a frame and on a wall this weekend. Fighting the urge to start painting on it again.
Seeing the storyboards for "The Man Who Killed Batman" when I was 17 was one of the canon events that led me to change careers to animation
"The Man Who Killed Batman" is a BTAS masterpiece. Villains like the Joker and Rupert Thorne struggle to come to terms with Batman's apparent death at the hands of a no-name hoodlum. It's a well-produced episode and the Joker's angry, vain eulogy for Batman is an all-time moment for the character.
I’m coloring something currently and I often think of this page of Dave Stewart coloring from THE WINTER MEN. 11 different Caucasians. 11 different skin colors. It’s subtle but it reads and adds. I guess it’s how I remind myself not to get lazy. Also I love face sheets in comics with a big cast.
Finally watching THE DUECE. It’s great. Not sure what took me so long.

When those middle aged dudes crawled out of the Trojan Horse all I could think of is them immediately writhing on the ground with a terminal case of oldman back.
My IMAX substitute is eating an extra edible and going to the $7 movie theater to watch the three hour historical epic whilst hearing the songs from the new Minions movie coming through the wall for at least half of it. I love movies but my real passion is a good deal.
Best Columbo villain(3 times!) Culp was the best at playing a guy being told the dude he murdered is dead like it’s the first he’s heard of it.
I saw my first demolition derby last weekend. Came away with the distinct feeling I’m going to make a comic about a dd.
