BRAZIL is a whole other experience rewatching recently. The grotesquely banal evil. Soul crushing bureaucracy servicing everyday fascism creep. The acceptance of armed paramilitaries doing whatever they like to anyone they want. The escapism as a necessary mental survival method. It’s all there.
Is there a work of art that was created well before the current era that you feel explains Trump and MAGA and everything better than anything contemporary? For me it’s Assassins (1990) but I’m curious if other people have one.
I'mma have a new comic for Philly Comics Expo. This Saturday, 10-5PM @ Old Pine Community Center 4th & Pine, Philadelphia.
I love a scene where a maintenance guys is adding or removing names on office doors in background. Thats the good stuff.
Going to see DIGGER tomorrow. No matter how it shakes out I just want to say this poster rocks.
I won't be at NYCC this weekend, but if you are... Get yourself a little treat*! *Comics from one of the great comic book makers in Artists' Alley.

AI books are bullshit. Call me old fashioned but I like reading/watching things I know were made by my fellow weirdos on the other end. It’s half the fun.
"It’s a massive national media coverup" it's a massive Propaganda Network cleverly Disguised as "News."
Strongly considering seeing DIGGER next week. I get even a whiff of DR. STRANGELOVE and I’m in.
I would like to go back in time a few years and find the development executive who first pitched Santa Claus as an ip and punch them.
First panel (process) of this week's OUTLAW'S APPRENTICE episode
I’ve got Battlestar Galactica on in the studio. Haven’t seen it since it came out. I forgot how good it is.
Jimmy McNulty looking ass. Lute Player. 1620. Theodor Rombouts.
Follette. 1890 By Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Oil on cardboard.
Also no commercials in the middle of a show. It’s such a vibe killer when it happens
apple TV is the only streaming service thats consistently producing television that’s really worth anything at all and its not even close
Thumbnails for a school thing. That first one is maybe my favorite thing I’ve ever drawn.
Some recent pencils I like about to become some inks I like.
Folk music is drastically increasing in popularity. Prepare for an apocalyptic recession.
SPX was great as usual. I had Thumb Books and my George Smiley mini comics on the table so I got spend a good part of the weekend talking about George Smiley and thumbnails.
Holy shit. I’m more surprised someone cast Ragnar as like a normal dude.
Sorry it just occurred to me that there may be people who haven’t seen clip from the Quibi show where Rachel Brosnahan plays a woman dying because of her golden prosthetic arm and I needed to fix that
