Mainstream publications have fallen all over themselves to pretend that Hanania is a “reformed” white supremacist instead of an acting gutter racist (The Atlantic just profiled him). It shows that racism is a norm in America, and these outlets don't think his ideas are disqualifying.

This is remarkable. Marco Rubio stated, "Iranians are thieves. They cannot impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz." In response, Abbas Araghchi remarked, "Consider the speaker. Approximately half of Venezuela's oil production is now directed to the United States. Who is truly the thief?"

This is appalling. Apparently some of the people ICE is arresting at airports have not violated ANY law; their period of lawful status has been extended, yet ICE appears to have old data and is arresting people based on stale information.

This is cathartic for uber-online/educated people to read & ALSO captures exactly the problem with how DSA folks talk about policy. It's right on substance, but punctuated w/ sneering erudition that alienates most. "Here's my theory of economic value and I'm sorry you're stupid" is not effective.

What funds are they using for this, anyways? This obviously isn't appropriated money because no funds for this use were appropriated. So uh, where did we find $4bn to pay people to stop trying to provide clean energy?

If we’re being honest with ourselves, the Dem establishment panicked to stop progressives in 2020. It was obvious in the summer of 2019 that Biden was tossing word salad in debates. Yet they closed ranks around him w/o extracting a deal to serve just one term. Historic error.
Another opportunity to note that Donald Trump is personal business partners with the leaders of a country he is giving otherwise utterly inexplicable special dispensation to, a situation which in any other era of American history would be deemed a federal felony and impeachable but is for now a yawn

It will be interesting to see how Chatrie alters judicial approaches to “abandoned DNA.” If you’re not voluntarily disclosing records when you use a phone and tell things to Google, are you voluntarily abandoning DNA when you sit down on a chair or toss a cigarette butt?
