The fundamental problem here is that we condition college affordability on participation in sports. If we had free public colleges like Europe, this wouldn't be as much of an issue. Instead, the issue of college affordability gets scapegoated onto trans people.

Just because SCOTUS affirms a type of discrimination does not mean that discrimination is required. This decision should not cause us to weaken our efforts for trans inclusion in general or trans inclusion in sports in particular. Cis allies, you very specifically, need to double down.

I’ve loved Walden’s previous work but this is unacceptable. It’s plagiarism, veering into fraud. Just because historians tell stories about real things that happened doesn’t mean you get to take those stories with essentially no credit to the person who did the hard work of piecing them together.
