I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.
The far-right reactions are not the real problem. They do what they believe in. The big problem is the similar reactions from liberal democratic parties from left to right. And thát, more than anything, is the problem of the 21st century!

Europeans should pay attention to how US commercial media succumbed to political pressure. This reinforces importance of well-financed, independent public service media alternative. Handing complete control over a national media system to companies driven entirely by profits is democratic suicide.

When the language of racism and misogyny are normalised as “just words” and “free speech” we wallow in historical ignorance. The line between language and violence is straight and unbroken.

Nekdanji PDZ ima sicer prav, vseeno pa v maniri pravega liberalnega demokrata ne zmore (noče?) dojeti, da je tem akterjem povsem vseeno za institucionalno ureditev liberalnih demokracij, njenih procedur&postulatov. Skratka, Stevanović nima nobenih problemov s tem, imamo pa resne probleme kot država.
