i woke up to 53°F temps w/low humidity coming through my bedroom window and it is unreal how much that helps me sleep like a rock. my summer sleep is about half the quality of my sleep during all other seasons, apparently
y’all cannot believe how much wound cleaning this girl put up with just 2 minutes earlier. if i go too long, she’ll stop eating & turn her head to look at me, & i’ll put my hands up immediately. then she relaxes & continues eating or tries to climb on my lap (which i don’t let her do!)
This is happening all weekend in Pittsburgh! Taking my mom to tonight’s lineup and she’s very excited 🩷

We had our final special state legislative election of the year tonight in Pennsylvania's #HD12, a Trump+18 district covering the suburban Cranberry Township area. Democrat Brandon Dukes flipped it blue tonight, defeating Republican Scott Timko by 88 votes!
you would not believe how chewed up i got from a sudden mosquito plague just taking this pic. we’ve never had a mosquito problem & i change out the wildlife water daily so this was a surprise that was not cool
reason 36 why i can’t just rent a trencher to do this gd 30’ trench keep finding giant pavers 6” down. no pattern, no lines of any kind beneath them. just…there. might have been buried to support the above-ground pool that used to be here before we moved in? idk b/c i’ve never had that kind of pool
that dewpoint has been 70°+ for over a week (and often with 70-90% humidity) and i cannot tell you how good it feels to not be dripping sweat constantly for the first time since that short cool stretch of days in early july
