It’s official: I’ve wrapped up 6 years working with the best team of my career at System Initiative. I’d like to thank Adam Jacob, Mahir Lupinacci, and Alex Ethier for putting their trust in me and being their first employee hire. 1/4

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Zach is very wise, and is absolutely correct here. Immigration is an objective good. His book "Open Borders" is *great*. You should read it. The basis of all this anti-immigration BS is blatant racism, and a fascist desire to use that to manipulate the population.

Once again, immigration is not even a problem. Immigrants are not more criminal, they don't cost jobs, they don't harm the economy. There is no reason for any of this. It is hurting ourselves to hurt them.

radical take here but i think that running out of money shouldnt put you in absolute misery actually. Running out of money at worst should make you unable to buy luxuries. You cant buy a TV, gaming PC, whatever. Running out of money should never make you homeless, starving, or unable to see

My following feed is for _me_. It's how I keep in touch with things _I_ am interested in. If I follow you, it's because I am interested in what you have to say and want to see more of it. If I unfollow, it's because I don't. I know there are parasocial implications but genuinely it's that simple.

let them go back then. I "include everyone" by replying to people who interact with my posts when I can. No one is owed a follow, especially people obsessed with follower counts.
