It’s not cool to force a captive audience to listen to someone preaching on a plane. Obnoxious jerks like this woman should expect to be ejected from the plane, pay a serious fine, and be put on a no-fly list if they refuse to sit down and shut up.

One of these preacher types got kicked off the plane. She called her disruption “spiritual warfare”. Flight attendant is like call it whatever, it’s illegal; get your stuff and get off the plane. 😂 www.threads.com/@alanafm411/...

Parents who give their children guns need to know that they will be held legally accountable. "Gray was convicted of murder and manslaughter earlier this year after buying his son an AR-15-style rifle as a Christmas gift and leaving it unsecured — despite warnings the teen was a danger to others."

Colin Gray, the Georgia father whose teenage son killed four people in the 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in a landmark murder case. https://cnn.it/4vWpBfi

Chrystia Freeland: "...this isn’t about wine sales or how Canada manages its forests or reviving U.S. manufacturing. It’s about whether Canada is willing to go from being an ally and a partner, in a relationship governed by treaties and rules, to being a vassal, subject to Washington fiat..."

"True power is being able to do whatever you like for whatever reason you like, or for no reason at all." And that's the core of MAGA, Trump, Tate, toxic masculinity, and fake "alpha" status. How odd that the hitmen of the John Wick universe live by a better code. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/28/o...

“Today, trucks will roll, cars will cross, and governments will begin collecting tolls. But the bridge will remain a monument to a broken bond that may take decades to fix—and may never be fully repaired.” Well worth reading @davidmoscrop.com’s excellent piece.

If there was ever any doubt, the Gordie Howe Bridge fiasco proves it: You can't trust Trump's America, or any deal within this administration's orbit. thewalrus.ca/the-gordie-h...

As Justin notes, other politicians have almost certainly delegated their jobs to ChatGPT. This guy was just so comically sloppy about it that he made it obvious…but even so, it flew under the radar until a Reddit user pointed out that he literally recited internal ChatGPT notes in the legislature.

A politician got caught using ChatGPT in a legislative debate. We should make very clear: That fucking sucks. www.thestar.com/opinion/star...
